DIGITA ACCOUNTS PRODUCTION ADVANCED TEMPLATE UPDATES
We are pleased to announce the release of the following template updates.
- Limited company, UK FRS 102, version 27
- UK IFRS, version 30
- LLP, version 18
Updates common to both UK company templates
- The IXBRL tagging on the signatory dates as Companies House now do not accept IXBRL references marked as "original" on the signatory dates.
Updates specific to the UK FRS 102 company template
- The IXBL tagging of abridged accounts so that they display as "abridged" when filed at Companies House.
- The disclosure data entry window for deferred tax in group accounts as found in the disclosures tab, income tax.
Features specific to the LLP template
- Updated all reports to include the 2023 IXBRL taxonomy which will be mandatory from April 2024 and which can be used now.
- A new sections in the summary tab called 'Report options' and "Report table settings' have been created to be consistent with other entity reports. The 'report options' section contains the presentation setting options while the 'Report table settings' contain the options for the alignment of headers and the wording used on headers.
- The addition of a tab for "non-import custom disclosures". This allows data to be entered into tables which flow through to templates at the back of the reports. The templates can then be moved within the report to display as required while viewing the report in design mode.
- Within the disclosure tab a new data entry window has been added, 'Revised financial statements' to enable the recording of reasons for filing amended accounts. The reports have been updated to include IXBL tags to report the accounts as revised when appropriate.
- A template called "Not filing a P&L" has been added to the LLP micro accounts to confirm that the entity has taken advantage of the option not to file a profit and loss account when filing filleted accounts at Companies House.
- Blue hyper links have been added to report templates where they link back to the disclosure data entry windows. These are visible when the report is viewed in design mode.
Known issues
- Where reports are being exported to Excel it will first be necessary to untick the "Contents" page template within the report structure tree.
- When exporting the report to Word, unless the report includes three or more signatories, use the vertical presentation otherwise the export will stop at the signatories.
- Updates have been made to the disclosures within the 'Income tax' note for "tax reconciliation" and "Deferred tax assets, liabilities and movements". As a result, if these tables have been customised, it may be necessary to select "revert to template" in order to re-establish the link to the Disclosure tab.
